DBS BANK’S PARTICIPATION IN THE NETS’ SHARED ATM NETWORK

DBS Bank would like to inform that it would not be participating in the NETS’ Shared ATM network with effect from 1 February 1999. This means that DBS Bank cardholders will not be able to use the NETS’ Shared ATM network from 1 February 1999. Similarly, cardholders of the other participating banks will not be able to access DBS Bank’s ATMs from that date.

DBS Bank’s acquisition of POSBank has resulted in the creation of the largest single-bank ATM network in Singapore. Our customers would have access to over 900 ATMs island-wide. This combined network will provide maximum convenience and accessibility to our customers as these ATMs are well-spread geographically in the CBD, major shopping centres, office complexes as well as HDB town centres, industrial estates, army camps and hospitals.

In addition, our customers can also look forward to a wide and comprehensive range of ATM services by next year. There will be no charge for customers’cash withdrawal transactions within the combined network.

For the convenience of our corporate customers, DBS Corporate BankCard holders can also access the combined ATM network of over 900 ATMs.

DBS Bank is a shareholder of the Network for Electronic Transfers (Singapore) Pte Ltd (NETS). All DBS Bank customers, including previous POSBank customers, can continue to use their ATM cards for cashless payments at NETS and CashCard outlets, NETS kiosks and all other NETS terminals, including Transitlink terminals.

A list of the combined ATM network is available at here.
