POSB first bank to offer comprehensive package
to recognise and reward customers for their seniority
Singapore, 24 October 2008 - To thank customers for their loyalty and support through the years, POSB creates a special experience, "50+ Tuesdays", at all POSB branches for customers age 50 and above.
From Tuesday, 28 October, all 49 POSB branches will welcome customers age 50 and above by extending special privileges to them during the first three hours of branch opening. This initiative is part of POSB's journey to improve and enhance overall customer experience. This journey started over two years ago when POSB refurbished all its branches and introduced a wider range of banking services for its customers. All POSB customers today enjoy banking at a more comfortable and conducive environment, conveniently located near their home or workplace.
On "50+ Tuesdays", a dedicated counter will be set up for customers age 50 and above, who will be served with snacks and drinks as they await their turn to perform their banking transactions. Useful aids like magnifying glass bookmarks will also be given to each customer in this age group on "50+ Tuesdays".
In addition, POSB will hold a month-long initiative leading up to Grandparents' Day on
23 November, honouring POSB customers who are already grandparents. In conjunction with the start of "50+ Tuesdays", each branch will be launching its own "My Favourite Grandparent Award" on 28 October, where family members can recognise and reward their favourite POSB grandparent.

We also want to honour grandparents, who have been taking care of the family and keeping it closely-knit. We will continually look for meaningful ways to show how much we value this group of customers."
POSB will also be launching two unique savings accounts for this 50+ group. POSB will offer the first fixed deposit product that rewards the customer based on his or her age, and not on the amount placed with the Bank.
In addition, recognising the close relationships grandparents share with their grandchildren, POSB will be offering 50+ MySavings Account. This account enables grandparents to contribute to and grow their grandchildren's savings. The 50+ fixed deposit and 50+ MySavings Account will be available at all POSB branches from
28 October.
