This account lets you save a fixed amount of money in Singapore Dollars (S$) for a fixed period at a fixed interest rate.

Eligibility and Requirement

  • 12 years old or more for a personal S$ Fixed Deposit Account. For customers who are below 12 years old and wish to open a S$ Fixed Deposit Account, a trust minor account may be opened with the parent or legal guardian who is at least 21 years old.
  • The minimum initial deposit is:
    • S$1,000 for 1-month to 24-month tenors
    • S$1 million for 1-day to shorter than 1-month tenors
  • Placements can be made using cash or SRS.
