- How would I know that the battery in my iB Secure Device is running low?
In situations of a low battery, your DBS iB Secure Device screen will display the following or a similar message when the button is pressed.
The ‘02’ appearing on the screen reflects the approximate number of months of battery life remaining in your device
You can refer to below table for the estimated battery life guide.

- What do I do if I encounter this low battery message on the screen?
If the screen on your device displays a low battery message, please contact our Customer Service hotline at 1800-111 1111 or 65-6327 2265 (overseas) to request for a replacement device. This will be mailed to you within 3 working days from your request.
- Do I need to pay for this replacement device?
There is no charge for the replacement of your device due to low battery.
- Can I visit the branches to obtain my replacement device?
Yes, our branches will be happy to assist you with the immediate issuance of a replacement device.
Please note that currently these POSB branches do not perform token issuance service.

- What do I do with my old device once I receive my replacement device?
Upon receipt of your replacement device, please destroy the old device and dispose off appropriately.
- What is the lifespan of the replacement device?
The average lifespan of the battery contained in the device is between 5 to 7 years. This is also dependent on the frequency of usage. |
