We have made iBanking transaction even safer with iB Message - One Time Password (OTP) Authorisation and SMS Notification.

iB Message (SMS OTP) for Authorisation
iB Message (SMS OTP) will send you an OTP via SMS to your handphone or message pager, which you will key-in for authorisation each time you do a 3rd Party Funds Transfer Application or Interbank Funds Transfer Application.

You need to be a subscriber of iB Message (SMS OTP) service before you can add a payee online. In Addition, you will no longer receive notification letters for your Funds Transfer Applications.

iB Message (SMS OTP) for Notification
When you successfully complete the following transactions, we will send you an SMS notification:

  • Add New DBS/POSB Payee
  • Add New Other Bank Payee
  • Funds Transfer To Other DBS/POSB A/C*
  • Funds Transfer To Other Bank*

You only need to apply for iB Message (SMS OTP) once at any DBS or POSB ATM.

* For transactions of S$2,000 and above.
