Lucky Draw : For New & Existing iBanking Customers |

1. |
Eligibility |
|
1.1 |
A Customer who is a New Customer or an Existing Customer is eligible to participate in the Draw.
| A New Customer is one who: |
| (a) |
has never had an iBanking facility with DBS/POSB prior to the Promotion Period (as defined below); |
| (b) |
has successfully signed up for a DBS iBanking facility during the Promotion Period via one of the following channels:
- DBS/POSB automated teller machines
- online application services via the DBS or POSB website
- iBanking application forms at a DBS or POSB branch
- iBanking application form in a DBS/POSB brochure
- Customer Centre at 1800 111 1111
and |
| (c) |
has successfully logged in to iBanking during the Promotion Period. |
An Existing Customer is a customer of the Bank who already has a valid iBanking facility as at the start of the Promotion Period and
(i) who has performed at least one of the transactions listed below ("Transactions") via iBanking or mBanking: |

- Funds transfer - Bill payment - Remittance - Add GIRO arrangement. |
(ii) who has downloaded the DBS/POSB mBanking application and successfully logged in to mBanking; or
(iii) applied for the eStatement facility.
In addition, for both New Customers and Existing Customers, such Customer's new or existing DBS/POSB accounts must not have been closed, frozen or suspended, and must in the opinion of the Bank be in good standing, and his/her iBanking facility must not have been terminated, as at the relevant Draw date. | |

2. |
Promotion Period |
|
2.1 |
The promotion period for the Draw ("Promotion Period") shall be from 01 Apr to 30 Jun 2012, both dates inclusive, or such other dates as the Bank may in its absolute discretion determine from time to time.

3. |
Conduct of Draw |
|
3.1 |
The Draw will be conducted at 4:00pm on 23 May, 20 Jun and 18 Jul at DBS Shenton Way branch or at such other time or venue as may be determined by the Bank.
|

3.2 |
The Promotion Period is divided into thirteen weeks each referred to herein as a "Weekly Draw Period". Five chances in the Draw shall be allocated to New Customers and Existing Customers who have downloaded the DBS/POSB mBanking application and successfully logged in to mBanking during the Promotion Period. No additional chances will be allocated for second and subsequent downloads/logins. Ten chances in the Draw shall be allocated to every New Customer. A New Customer will be awarded one additional chance for each Transaction successfully performed via iBanking or mBanking during the Promotion Period. An Existing Customer will be awarded one chance for each Transaction successfully performed via iBanking or mBanking during the Promotion Period. A New Customer or an Existing Customer who applies for an eStatement Facility during the Promotion Period will be awarded one chance in the Draw. Customers who are already enrolled for eStatements are not eligible, and in the event a Customer makes more than one application, only one chance will be awarded. A cap of 20 chances per Customer per Weekly Draw Period applies. This means that a Customer will be allocated a maximum of 20 chances per Weekly Draw Period, even if more than 20 chances are earned. A Customer qualifies for the Draw according to the date of first successful login in the case of New Customers, and according to the Transaction date and/or date the mBanking application was first downloaded and/or date of application for eStatements for both New Customers and Existing Customers. 3.3 |
Winners will be notified by ordinary post within thirty (30) working days from the Draw date, at their account mailing address in the Bank's records. The results will also be published in a major English language newspaper on 25 Jul 2012.

4. |
Prizes |
|
4.1 |
On each Draw Date, three (3) Customers will be randomly selected from Customers entered in each relevant Weekly Draw Period to win $1,000 worth of Takashimaya Shopping vouchers each.
The Bank reserves the right to draw a reserve winner or winners to replace a winner who is subsequently disqualified or whose prize is forfeited for any reason whatsoever. Thirty-nine (39) prizes in total will be given away. Only one prize will be given per Customer, and a Customer who has won a prize is disqualified from further participation in the Draw.

5. |
General Terms and Conditions |
|
5.1 |
Participation in the Draw is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions applicable to the Draw.
|
|
5.2 |
The following shall not be entitled to participate in the Draw: - Estates of deceased Customers
|
|
5.3 |
The Bank shall be entitled to use the name, identification numbers and pictures/photographs of any or all winners for print advertisements or other publicity materials; and may otherwise engage any or all winners for its publicity purposes without any compensation whatsoever and in such manner as the Bank deems fit. In addition, participation in this Draw is deemed express consent to disclosure of the participant's personal particulars to any person or entity involved in organizing, promoting or conducting the Draw for purposes of the Draw.

5.4 |
Notwithstanding anything herein, the Bank has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of a Customer to participate in the Draw or receive a prize. The decision of the Bank on all matters relating to or in connection with this Draw shall be final. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.
|

5.5 |
The Bank shall not be liable in any way to any Customer or any other person for any loss or damage or expenses arising in connection with this Draw, howsoever arising, including without limitation, from any late or non notification, any error in computing chances, any technical, hardware or software breakdown, malfunction or defects, failed delayed or incorrect transactions, lost or unavailable network connections or any notice that is lost or misdirected.

5.6 |
The Bank may, at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice, vary, modify, delete or add to these terms and conditions (including the conduct of the Draw and the number of winners and prizes) and may also suspend or terminate the Draw at any time without any notice or liability to any Customer.
|
|
5.7 |
In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Draw, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
|
|
5.8 |
The Bank's Terms and Conditions governing Accounts, Terms and Conditions governing Electronic Services, Terms and Conditions governing Electronic Statements and terms and conditions governing all other account-related services apply. iBanking facilities are granted at the absolute discretion of the Bank and the Bank reserves the right to decline applications without giving any reason whatsoever.

5.9 |
The prize must be collected in person or by an authorized representative. The representative must present the original duly completed authorization letter from the winner and both the winner's and representative's NRIC or passport at point of collection. If not claimed by the indicated redemption end date stated in the redemption letter, the prize will be forfeited.

5.10 |
Prizes are not replaceable, transferable nor exchangeable. The Bank reserves the right to substitute or replace any prize with another prize of similar value without prior notice. The Bank makes no representation or warranty whatsoever in respect of the prizes, whether as to the quality or merchantability or fitness for purpose or performance or otherwise whatsoever. The Bank is not an agent of the supplier of the products and services comprising the prizes nor vice versa. Any disputes should be resolved directly with the supplier. Redemption and use of the prizes are also subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier.

5.11 |
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and the Customers irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
A person who is not party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act to enforce any of these terms and conditions. |
