Assuming a 42-year old (at next birthday) male non-smoker purchases MoneySecure Express with a sum assured of S$23,500 and a policy term of 10 years. He pays a monthly premium amount of S$503.15. During the last 4 years of his insurance policy, from end of Year 7 to policy maturity, he will receive yearly guaranteed cash coupons, amounting to 100% of her sum assured, of S$23,500. At policy maturity, he could also potentially receive a lump sum bonus payout².

Alternatively, if he chooses to reinvest his guaranteed cash coupons with Aviva Ltd at 3% p.a.¹ until the end of the policy term, he could potentially receive a lump sum benefit of S$36,148 (inclusive of accumulated bonuses⁴) at policy maturity.
