Terms and Conditions:

  1. DBS Member-Get-Member ("Promotion") is conducted by DBS or POSB ("Bank") and is only open to existing housing loan, term loan and/or renovation loan customers of the Bank ("Introducer") or as may be determined by the Bank at its sole and absolute discretion.
  2. Introducers and customers referred by Introducers ("Referred Customer") cannot be employees of the Bank. Where there are joint borrowers, the referral will not qualify for the Promotion if any one of the borrowers is an employee of the Bank.
  3. A Referred Customer cannot have any existing housing, term or renovation loan(s) with the Bank. Where there are joint borrowers, the referral will not qualify for the Promotion if any one of the borrowers has any existing housing, term or renovation loan(s) with the Bank. In these terms and conditions, "housing or term loan" refers to a housing loan facility or term loan facility that is secured by a mortgage on property, and "renovation loan" refers to a loan facility for the renovation of a residential property.
  4. A successful referral is a referral where the Referred Customer accepts the Bank's letter of offer for a housing or term loan of minimum loan amount of S$100,000, or a renovation loan of minimum loan amount of S$15,000.
  5. An Introducer who makes a successful housing, term or renovation loan referral will receive a redemption letter to claim the shopping vouchers ("Reward") of the following values.
    Loan Size Your Reward
    S$100,000 to < S$500,000 S$100
    S$500,000 to < S$1,500,000 S$300
    S$1,500,000 to < S$3,000,000 S$800
    S$3,000,000 and above S$1000

    Renovation Loan Size Your Reward
    S$15,000 and above $50
  6. Each Introducer: (a) shall inform the Referred Customer that a DBS representative will be contacting them for the purposes of the Promotion; (b) undertakes to comply with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act (Cap 26 of 2012) (“Act”); (c) warrants that he/she has obtained clear and unambiguous consent under the Act from the Referred Customer to the collection, use and disclosure of the Referred Customer’s personal data for the purpose of the Promotion; and (d) consents to DBS disclosing the Introducer’s name to the Referred Customer for the purposes of the Promotion.
  7. If more than one person refers the same Referred Customer, whether under the Promotion or any other referral program, only the first person to make the referral will be eligible for the referral reward under the relevant program. In the event of any dispute, the Bank shall have the sole and final discretion in deciding which person made the first referral.
  8. The Bank reserves the right to substitute or replace any Reward with another prize of similar value without giving prior notice.
  9. Introducer agrees to hold DBS and its directors, officers and employees (each an “Indemnified Party”) harmless and keep each Indemnified Party fully and effectively indemnified from and against any losses, costs, claims, damages and expenses whatsoever which any of them may incur (directly or indirectly) as a result of any breach by the Introducer of any of its representatives, warranties, undertakings or obligations hereunder.
  10. The Bank reserves the right not to give the Reward if any information provided is incomplete or inaccurate.
  11. The Bank reserves the right not to give the Reward where the Bank has already paid any other form of referral fee to acquire the loan.
  12. Notwithstanding anything herein, the Bank reserves the right at any time at its absolute discretion to vary or supplement the terms herein, and to suspend or withdraw the Promotion without prior notice or liability to the participants. The Bank may reject any claim for the Reward in the event of irregularity, discrepancy or dispute, and its decision shall be conclusive and binding.
  13. Redemption of the Reward is subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Reward redemption letter. Only original redemption letters will be accepted at the participating merchants. Late redemptions will not be entertained and the Reward will be treated as uncollected. Introducers shall not be entitled to compensation for any uncollected Rewards.
  14. Reward redemption letters and Rewards are not replaceable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or kind. Redemption and use of the Rewards are subject to the terms and conditions of the participating merchants. DBS makes no representation or warranty whatsoever in respect of the Rewards, the use thereof or the goods and services procured using the Rewards. DBS is not the issuer of the Rewards nor a supplier of the products or services they are exchangeable for. Any dispute must be resolved directly with the participating merchant.
  15. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  16. A person who does not participate in the Promotion shall have no right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
  17. The terms of the Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
