Terms and Conditions

  1. By clicking on the "Buy now" button, I hereby instruct and authorise DBS Bank Ltd (“DBS”) and Manulife on the following:
    • DBS is authorised to deduct the first premium from my account
    • DBS is authorised to process the instructions of the Billing Organisation (BO), herein known as Manulife, to debit my account for the second premium onwards
    • DBS is authorised to inform Manulife of this GIRO application and to debit my account for the second premium onwards
    • DBS is entitled to reject Manulife's debit instruction if my account does not have sufficient funds. DBS Bank shall be entitled to impose charges in such an event.
    • DBS has the discretion to proceed with Manulife's debit instruction notwithstanding that this may result in my account being overdrawn. DBS shall be entitled to impose charges in such an event.
    • This authorisation shall remain in force until terminated by DBS or upon DBS's receipt of my termination notice from Manulife.
    • In the event of any payouts in connection with my policy, Manulife is authorised to direct credit the amount to my bank account.
  2. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Manulife from and against any and all demands, claims, actions, damages, suits, proceedings, assessments, judgments, costs, losses (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) including legal costs, and other expenses arising from or in connection with Manulife accepting and acting on these instructions (including where relevant, the use of the Electronic Services).
  3. I consent to the collection, use, disclosure and processing of my personal data by/to DBS and Manulife and such other third parties as DBS and Manulife may reasonably deem fit for the purpose of this promotion. You agree to be bound by the terms of DBS Privacy Policy and Manulife Privacy Policy, a copy of which can be found on www.dbs.com/privacy and www.manulife.com.sg/hy_privacy_policy.aspx respectively.
