        Tagging @Cal in this thread since we're seeing some similarities with his post!

        Cal shared that his strategy 'will be to deploy 20% of it for every 5% dip when the market drops >10-15%.'. What do you think @jy1?

          Used to be one of those people that saved endlessly lol. Interesting how most people I know these days put a lot more savings into investing, and continue to reinvest after.

          But I’d say still have an emergency fund or at least 3-6 months, good coverage and no bad debts. With that, you don’t need to wait to have tons of money before investing with tools like Invest-Saver (since you can just put S$100 a month to start). By the time you’re ready for anything ‘heavier’ you’ve already invested for a while thanks to your dollar cost averaging with your Regular Savings Plan.
