TLDR: Need more than just great specs. Also require more people who can appreciate and adopt it to build entire ecosystems (eg. developers, users, evangelists).

Well.. the best Tech and Specs don't always win. There are so many other conditions to factor in, including barriers to entry and change. They need entire ecosystem(s), and sufficient people to appreciate them before they can take off. (Applicable to all inventions and policies, not just crypto.)

Nano needs more people to appreciate their features, especially developers who can create more (and even better) applications for it, to grow their ecosystem holistically.

Furthermore, there are other platforms which already have quite their strongholds (eg. Ethereum, Cardano, Ripple). Think of competing with Netflix, Disney+, HBO Plus, when you have far less content.

Not saying Nano cannot do it. But it's needs much more to reach critical mass to benefit from the network effect.
