SoCash is an app that you can download. After that, you withdraw money at minimarts and other similar shops instead of ATM machines. This post displays my referral code: https://diaperfinancingfund.blogspot.com/2021/05/side-hustle-parenting-all-hail-socash.html

Making a budget is not fun for me but what about making it a challenge or a competition between you and some friends or your partner?
Set a budget for everything you need (including fun stuff!), set a time-frame, and see who can stick to it the best or who can do even better than the budget! The winner gets excused from doing chores or something. lol What prize would be fun for a budget challenge? Bonus points if the prize don't cost a thing!

@soulsensei this is interesting. how do you set this up?

assign a job to every dollar. for example, i use Socash to withdraw money, so the 28 cents/38 cents/68 cents that i gain from using Socash gets transferred periodically to my SRS account

I tried using budget apps 2-3 years back and it didn't really help me. With too much granular monitoring, things can go easily out of hand. Come on, who have all the time to monitor each and every finance of the day.
The best thing to do is to have a google sheet that says how much you've allocated for each sector and plan for investments, shopping, insurance, transport, rent, etc., and then put money for your own spendings. You can get these details from DBS nav planner.
