  1. What does Applying for a New Debit Card mean?

    Debit Card Application is a service that allows existing DBS Savings Plus, DBS Current, DBS Autosave or POSB Savings Account holders to apply for a new debit card via iBanking.

  2. What is the age requirement to apply for a Debit Card?

    You must be at least 16 years old to apply for a Debit Card.

  3. Why can't I apply for POSB Active Card via iBanking?

    You must be above 45 years old to apply for POSB Active Card. If you have not met the age requirement, you will not see this card as an available option.

  4. Do I have to have a minimum income to apply for a Debit Card?

    No, there is no minimum income requirement to apply for a Debit Card

  5. What are the types of accounts that I can tag to the Debit Card?

    You may tag the Debit Card to your DBS Savings Plus account, DBS Autosave account, DBS Current account, or POSB Savings account.

  6. Why can't I apply for NUS debit Card via iBanking?

    The DBS NUS Debit Card is open only to NUS students; additional document(s) eg. Copy of your matriculation card are required to verify the applicant is an NUS student.

  7. Does the Multi-tude Debit Card come with the S$500 credit limit?

    The Multitude Debit Card is a Debit Card, hence there is no credit limit.

  8. When will I know the status of my application?

    Please allow 3 working days to process the application upon receipt of all the required information. You will receive a SMS notification once the application has been processed. You may also log into DBS iBanking and refer to "View Application Status" for the application status.
