Dear customers, we will update this page on our DBS/POSB branch operations as Singapore gradually re-opens some activities after the circuit breaker.

In support of the government’s announcement of safe reopening, the following list of DBS/POSB branches will remain open. We will temporarily close some DBS/POSB branches, all DBS Treasures and DBS Treasures Private Client centres during this safe re-opening period as a measure to minimise community spread of Covid-19.

Branch SMS Q service has been suspended for the time being. During this period, the first hour of branch opening is dedicated for the elderly (60 years & above), pregnant mothers and customers with disabilities.

The following DBS/POSB branches will remain open with regular banking hours where the first hour of branch opening will continue to be dedicated to serve the elderly (60 years and above), pregnant mothers and customers with disabilities.

The following services will be available for our individual and corporate customers at the DBS/POSB branches that will remain open during this period:

  1. SGD Cash withdrawals and deposits*
    *A minimum cash deposit of SGD$200 per transaction will apply for all corporate cash deposits handled over the counter starting 25 May 2020
  2. Encashment of cheques / Cashiers Order
  3. Remittances and payments including telegraphic transfer and loan application and repayment
  4. New to DBS/POSB deposit account opening
  5. Account Servicing (eg. Signatory updates, appoint 3rd party mandate, address/contact update and activation of dormant accounts)
  6. Safe deposit box services

The following branches will continue to remain closed during this period.

Safe deposit box access at our DBS/POSB and DBS Treasures Centre will be available by appointment only, on Wednesdays between 8:30am to 4:30pm. For an appointment, please email sdbappointment@dbs.com three days in advance with your name, contact number, preferred date/time and the branch you would like to visit.

To safeguard the health and well-being of our customers and staff within our premises, customers visiting our branches must wear a mask. Customers without a mask will be denied entry to our branches.

In support of stricter safe distancing measures, we have implemented a dedicated banking hour for the vulnerable group of customers from 9 April 2020

  • The first hour of branch opening will be dedicated to serve the elderly (60 years and above), pregnant mothers and customers with disabilities.

Other safe distancing measures at our branches:

  • Seats in our branches have been demarcated to ensure that customers are seated at least 1 metre apart.
  • Limits have been placed on the number of customers that can be in a branch simultaneously, depending on branch size.
  • Customers will be spaced out in the queueing area at our branch entrances to maintain distancing.
  • Temperature screening and the completion of a health declaration form will be required for all customers seeking to enter our premises.
  • We regret that we will have to decline entry to our premises for any customers that:
    • are showing symptoms (e.g. fever, cough or difficulty in breathing etc.) or ;
    • had close contact with any persons warded for observation or diagnosed as a suspected/probable case in the last 14 days
  • We have also stepped up the frequency of cleaning and disinfection of our premises and self-service machines (e.g. ATMs).

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and act accordingly in the best interests of our customers and colleagues.

With our business continuity plans in place, we do not foresee any disruption to our banking services during this period. For your convenience, we encourage you to bank with us online through our internet banking or via our digibank/iWealth app anytime.

We seek your understanding that there may be longer wait time at our branches as a result of the above safe distancing measures.

  • 22 digital lobbies remain open for round-the clock self-servicing banking.
  • 55 Video Teller Machines with support from customer service officers available during banking hours.
  • Cashpoints available at Cold Storage, Giant, 7-Eleven and more.
  • 1,100 ATMs and 150 BTMs available for cash withdrawals and deposits.
