Terms & Conditions Governing DBS Great Touchdown Lucky Draw ("Draw")

POSB is a retail brand of DBS Bank Ltd ("Bank" or "DBS") and the Draw is conducted by the Bank. The Draw is open to all eligible customers of DBS and POSB ("Customer").

Lucky Draw : Only for existing iBanking/mBanking Customers who made selected transactions and DBS/POSB Cards Customers

  1. Eligibility
    1. Must be a customer of the Bank as at the start of the Promotion Period (which shall mean from 01 May 2013 to 31 Dec 2013, both dates inclusive) and who has , during the Promotion Period:
      1. Successfully performed at least one of the transactions listed below ("Transactions"):
        • Funds transfer via iBanking or mBanking:
        • Bill payment via iBanking or mBanking:
        • Online overseas funds transfer via iBanking or mBanking
        • Pay other banks credit cards via iBanking or mBanking
        • Visa personal payments via iBanking or mBanking
        • Credit card and debit card application via iBanking
        • Update personal particulars via iBanking (mobile number and/or email address and/or address)
        • Charged a minimum of S$50 to any DBS/POSB credit or debit card on online transactions (includes online installment payment plans and mobile purchases on MoCo- mobile commerce website owned and operated by Cellcity Ltd). Every S$50 spent entitles each customer to one (1) chance, e.g. S$125 online spent in a single transaction will entitle the Cardmember to two (2) chances. The total qualified expenditure under all DBS/POSB credit or debit cards owned by the Cardmember will be capped at S$1,500. The number of chances allocated to each Cardmember for a combination of all qualified transactions listed above will be capped at 30 chances per calendar month in the Promotion Period; or
      2. Applied for the eStatement facility via iBanking
      In addition, Customer's existing DBS/POSB accounts must not have been closed, frozen or suspended, and must in the opinion of the Bank be in good standing, and his/her iBanking/mBanking facility must not have been terminated, as at the relevant Draw date.
  2. Conduct of Draw
    1. There will only be one Grand Draw which will be conducted at DBS MBFC Branch once we have achieve a total of 30 million transactions count or by 31 Dec 2013, whichever is earlier.
    2. Customer will be awarded one chance for each successful transaction performed during the Promotion Period.
      • Funds transfer via iBanking or mBanking
      • Bill payment via iBanking or mBanking
      • Pay other banks credit cards via iBanking or mBanking
      • Update personal particulars via iBanking (mobile number and/or email address and/or address)
      • Charged a minimum of S$50 to any DBS/POSB credit or debit card on online transactions (includes online installment payment plans) and mobile purchases on MoCo- mobile commerce website owned and operated by Cellcity Ltd.
      Customer will be awarded two chances for each successful transaction performed via iBanking or mBanking during the Promotion Period.

      • Visa personal payments via iBanking or mBanking
      • Credit card and debit card application via iBanking
      • Applied for the eStatement facility via iBanking
      Existing iBanking Customer who applies for an eStatement Facility during the Promotion Period will be awarded two chances in the Draw. Customers who are already enrolled for eStatements are not eligible, and in the event that a Customer makes more than one application, whether for the same or different accounts, only two chances will be awarded regardless of subsequent applications. If joint account holders make more than one application for the same account, only two chances will be awarded, to the first successful applicant.

      A cap of 30 chances per Customer per calendar month in the Promotion Period applies. This means that a Customer will be allocated a maximum of 30 chances per calendar month in the Promotion Period, even if more than 30 chances are earned.

    3. Winners will be notified by ordinary post within thirty (30) working days from the Draw date, at their account mailing address in the Bank's records. The results will also be published on the DBS & POSB websites and in a major local English language newspaper. The announcement date in the New Paper will be confirmed at a later date.
  3. Prizes
    1. Subject to the terms herein, the prize for the Grand Draw shall be a Volkswagen Beetle 1.2 TSI. (the "Prize"). The Prize will be digitally hoisted high up from the sky estimated at 1000 metres. With every 30,000 qualifying iBanking and mBanking transactions count, the car will be lowered by 1 metre. The campaign will end when the Prize reaches the ground once we achieve a total of 30 million transactions count or by 31 Dec 2013, whichever is earlier.
    2. On the Grand Draw Date, one (1) Customer will be randomly selected from eligible Customers entered in the Promotion Period to win the Prize. The Prize is not inclusive of COE.
    3. The Bank reserves the right to draw a reserve winner or winners to replace a winner who is subsequently disqualified or whose prize is forfeited for any reason whatsoever. Only one prize will be given away for this lucky draw campaign.
  4. General Terms and Conditions
    1. Participation in the Draw is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions applicable to the Draw.
    2. The following shall not be entitled to participate in the Draw:
      Estates of deceased Customers
    3. This lucky draw is not open to DBS and POSB staff and immediate family, vendors, temporary staff involved in the campaign
    4. The Bank shall be entitled to use the name, identification numbers and pictures/photographs of any or all winners for print advertisements or other publicity materials; and may otherwise engage any or all winners for its publicity purposes without any compensation whatsoever and in such manner as the Bank deems fit. In addition, participation in this Draw is deemed express consent to disclosure of the participant's personal particulars to any person or entity involved in organizing, promoting or conducting the Draw for purposes of the Draw.
    5. Notwithstanding anything herein, the Bank has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of a Customer to participate in the Draw or receive a prize. The decision of the Bank on all matters relating to or in connection with this Draw shall be final. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.
    6. The Bank shall not be liable in any way to any Customer or any other person for any loss or damage or expenses arising in connection with this Draw, howsoever arising, including without limitation, from any late or non notification, any error in computing chances, any technical, hardware or software breakdown, malfunction or defects, failed delayed or incorrect transactions, lost or unavailable network connections or any notice that is lost or misdirected.
    7. The Bank may, at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice, vary, modify, delete or add to these terms and conditions (including the Promotion Period, the conduct of the Draw and the number of winners and prizes) and may also suspend or terminate the Draw at any time without any notice or liability to any Customer.
    8. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Draw, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
    9. The Bank's Terms and Conditions governing Accounts, Terms and Conditions governing Electronic Services, Terms and Conditions governing Electronic Statements and terms and conditions governing all other account-related services apply. iBanking facilities are granted at the absolute discretion of the Bank and the Bank reserves the right to decline applications without giving any reason whatsoever.
    10. The prize must be collected in person or by an authorized representative. The representative must present the original duly completed authorization letter from the winner and both the winner's and representative's NRIC or passport at point of collection.
      If not claimed by the indicated redemption end date stated in the redemption letter, the prize will be forfeited.
    11. Prizes are not replaceable nor exchangeable. The Bank reserves the right to substitute or replace any prize with another prize of similar value without prior notice. The Bank makes no representation or warranty whatsoever in respect of the prizes, whether as to the quality or merchantability or fitness for purpose or performance or otherwise whatsoever. The Bank is not an agent of the supplier of the products and services comprising the prizes nor vice versa. Any disputes should be resolved directly with the supplier. Redemption and use of the prizes are also subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier.
    12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and the Customers irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
      A person who is not party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
