Skip queuing up at the usual branches. Open a business account anytime, anywhere. That’s DBS’s bold vision of the future of banking – at least where startups in Singapore are concerned.

In an unprecedented move, the Singapore-based Asian banking giant has taken a radical approach to startup and SME banking, by creating one of its banks right where the action is.

Acutely aware of a lack of exclusivity in its current startup banking experience where customers aren’t given queue priority when served, don’t have a dedicated banking space and don’t get to partake in an immersive one-on-one session provided by a personal Relationship Manager (RM), DBS sensed an opportunity to take things further to pave way towards evolved banking ways.

Today, DBS has revolutionized the banking scene by introducing Singapore’s first virtual account opening service right at the heart of the startup community at ACE (Action Community for Entrepreneurship) at Blk 79, JTC LaunchPad @ one-north.

The creation of this exclusive space, which comes equipped with video conferencing capabilities, will provide startups at at Blk 79, JTC LaunchPad @ one-north with direct access and instant connectivity to a Relationship Manager (RM), who will be able to answer their business financing-related enquiries and prompt entrepreneurs in the right direction regarding corporate banking.

Given the bank’s existing commitment to the startup ecosystem through DBS BusinessClass – an app that connects entrepreneurs to business advisors and investors – this service, right in the middle of the startup co-working space, will reinforce DBS’s drive towards becoming an entrepreneurship partner through positive brand association and direct business-challenge addressing.

Here’s how you can open your DBS Business Account at our exclusive space in 5 simple steps.
