Why is Financio for my business?

Financio was developed to make life easier for small and medium businesses. Allowing you to devote more resources to other aspects of your business. Most importantly, Financio development is steered by the local business environment, helping your business stay up to date with local compliance and trends. 

Some of the Singapore-specific features are IRAS Compliant GST and IAF report, Multilingual Interface, WhatsApp Notification and Corporate Paynow. 

Financio is also multi-currency ready and has no limitation in terms of the number of users. That way, your business can scale at ease. Financio also comes ready with more than 20 reports available. 

Which accounts can I set up bank feeds for?

You can set up bank feeds for all DBS Corporate Current Accounts to be delivered directly to the Financio platform. All except for Fixed Deposit Accounts.

How do I connect automated bank feeds to Financio?

To connect to Financio: 

Log in to your Financio > Select integrated apps > Connect > Log in to DBS IDEAL™ > Select preferred bank account for connectivity 

 

To reconcile & match transactions: 

Go to control panel > Select account > Reconcile

Who can set up bank feed connection?

Only an IDEAL authoriser can set up bank feed connection. Do note you can only send bank feeds to Financio for accounts that you are entitled to within DBS IDEAL.

I have IDEAL Enquiry Access. Can I use this service?

You will have to upgrade your access to IDEAL transact for free, apply now.

How do I get bank feeds for a new account?

Simply log in to Financio and reconnect the bank feeds again. Ensure that the user who tries to make the connection has access to the new account.

How do I set up bank feeds for my subsidiary company?

The subsidiary company must have its own DBS IDEAL online banking account with unique login ID and password. 

Tag your subsidiary company to your company’s IDEAL account to set up bank feeds.

What reports can Financio generate

Access to 20+ reports including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance, General Ledger Summary, General Ledger Detail, Account Transactions, Aged Receivables, Aged Payables, Reconciliation, Audit Trial, Inventory Summary, Inventory Detail + GST Summary (GST F5), GST Detail and IRAS Audit File (.IAF)

Is Financio secure?

We’ve partnered with Microsoft Azure to provide users with deploy banking level security on our servers and for data transferred between your machine and our servers. Your data is safe with us.

What support can I expect?

You can reach us via the in-app chat support when logged in to your Financio account. You can also email us your questions at [email protected] or submit a ticket on our website.

What is e-invoicing via Peppol (IMDA)?

Electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) is a nationwide initiative by IMDA to help businesses achieve automated creation, exchange and processing of requests for payment between suppliers and buyers. Businesses on the Peppol network will be able to directly send invoices in a structured digital format from one finance system to another resulting in faster payment. Learn more.

How do I register for e-invoicing?

You will just need a Financio subscription. After you subscribe or if you already have a subscription, follow these easy instructions to set up e-invoicing in Financio to start sending and receiving invoices on the Peppol network.

How do I activate my Corporate PayNow and connect it within Financio?

To activate PayNow Corporate: 

Log into your Financio > Go to Control Panel > Integrated Apps > PayNow Setting > Toggle ‘SG PayNow Enabled’.

What is Corporate PayNow?

Corporate PayNow lets you make and receive payments instantly with your Unique Entity Number (UEN), without the need to know or disclose any account numbers.
