Why is DBSV closing my trading account?
As your account has been inactive for the past 5 years, we have closed it to safeguard your account.
Can I request to retain and not close my trading account?
As the closure process has been activated, we are unable to retain your trading account. If you would like to resume trading activities, please open a new trading account with DBSV. Please see question below for details.
I have more than one trading account with DBSV. Will my other trading accounts be closed too?
If your other trading account(s) have been inactive for the past 5 years, you will receive a separate closure letter for each trading account.
Can I open a new individual trading account with DBSV?
Yes, you may apply for a new individual DBSV online trading account via DBS/POSB iBanking, Digibank mobile app after all your existing trading account(s) have been closed.
What are the features of a new online individual trading account with DBSV?
A new individual online trading account will be linked to a DBS Multi-Currency Account for convenient trade settlement and dividend crediting in many currencies. You will have online access to 7 key global markets, lower online trading commission on cash upfront trades and fuss-free settlement of trades in many currencies.
