Unfortunate circumstances sometimes affect us all, and the last thing you need in addition to medical bills, is an outstanding amount on your Cashline Account. That’s why we have CashShield Prime to help ease the financial burden on you and your family.

Comprehensive Coverage

  • Up to S$100,000 outstanding balance upon diagnosis of critical cancer* or 
    terminal illness NEW
  • Up to S$200,000 outstanding balance in the event of accidental death
  • Up to S$100,000 outstanding balance in the event of death or total permanent disability

Affordable Premium

Pay based on what you spend with a low premium of only S$0.49 for every S$100 on your monthly outstanding balance.

CashShield Prime is underwritten by Aviva Ltd, under Group Policy No. 3007787.

*This plan does not cover any pre-existing medical conditions. A waiting period of 90 days applies for claim of critical cancer benefit.

This is not a contract of insurance. Full details of the terms, conditions and exclusions of this insurance are provided in the Certificate of Insurance (COI) and will be sent to you upon acceptance of your application by DBS Bank Ltd.

This Policy is protected under the Policy Owners' Protection Scheme, and is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your Policy is automatic and no further action is required from you. For more information on the types of benefits that are covered under the scheme as well as the limits of coverage, where applicable, please contact Aviva Ltd or visit the LIA or SDIC web-sites (www.lia.org.sg or www.sdic.org.sg).

The insurance cover may be cancelled by written request to DBS Bank Ltd within fourteen (14) days after the receipt of the COI, in which case a refund of the premium received by DBS Bank Ltd shall be made without interest. The refund will be made after the original COI is received for cancellation. If the COI is sent by post, it shall be deemed to have delivered within seven (7) days after posting.
