What is new on DBS Lifestyle app?
The new improved app integrates several key features to provide you with a seamless and hassle-free mobile banking and lifestyle experience. It rewards you instantly and also provides services at your fingertips.
DBS Lifestyle app comes with these exciting features:
*This feature is available on seasonal basis and each promotion is specifically tailored to every customer based on a number of criteria.
DBS Lifestyle app offers new personalized services such as a Personal Finance Manager and InstaRewards that require authentication of the user. Hence, login is required to access these services.
You can login with your existing DBS/POSB digibank User ID and the 6 to 9 digit Secure PIN.
You can click on the Sign Up button on the login screen. You will then be redirected to the digibank app to create a User ID and PIN.
You can click on the Forgot User ID & Pin link located at the bottom of the Login screen for assistance. You will then be redirected to the DBS/POSB digibank app to reset your password.
Notifications for the DBS Lifestyle app can be controlled through your mobile device settings.
Through personalization, the DBS Lifestyle app will remember the Deals and Rewards items that you have added to Favourites so that you can access them again the next time you log in. Afterwards, you can also continue to access your Favourites without logging in (Note: applicable only if you are using the same device).
In addition, you can also enable “fingerprint login” for easy login with your fingerprint and Peek Balance to glance at your rewards balance without logging in.
You can access this by tapping on the right-most button at the bottom of the screen. This is the More button. It displays other features you can explore in the app. You can then select Settings, then Personalization to configure your personalization.
You will be able to view these deals at a glance from the home screen via the favourites button.
These are deals that have been selected for you based on both the preferences and location that you have set.
Only users who have personalized their settings will be able to view the deals/rewards that have been added to Favourites without logging in. You can personalize your app by accessing the Personalization screen and enabling the Touch ID or Peek balance, or alternatively by editing your profile picture or nickname.
Unfortunately, the older version of the DBS Lifestyle app can no longer be accessed.

These are DBS Points / POSB Daily$ you can earn by charging retail purchases to your DBS/POSB cards. You can use these DBS Points / POSB Daily$ to exchange for a range of exciting reward items. The amount of DBS Points / POSB Daily$ awarded differs for every card.

It is a list of exciting reward items that you can redeem using your DBS Points, which are earned every time you charge to your card.

With this new feature, you can redeem rewards instantaneously to offset your recent transactions via DBS Lifestyle app. Browse through your eligible expenses and simply tap to redeem.
You will be able to offset your transactions and enjoy instant savings!
Important note:
Step 1: From the home screen of DBS Lifestyle app, select Eligible Transactions/Expenses.
Step 2: Select the purchase you want to offset DBS Points/ POSB Daily$ for.
Step 3: Use the toggle to select the amount you want to offset with the corresponding DBS Points/ POSB Daily$.
Step 4: Select “Redeem” and click “OK” to confirm.
You can now offset your purchases instantly at participating merchant outlets. Simply launch the DBS Lifestyle app to see the list of participating merchant outlets.
The latest transactions will be reflected on the Rewards homepage. You can click on “Select All” to view the full list of InstaRewards transaction history. You will only be able to view 90 days transaction history.
From the Rewards homepage, you can tap on Rewards Balance to access the rewards menu. It will show your current points and expiry date.
It will show your past credit card transaction history and how much you spent on each category.
You will be able to view your transaction history for the past 5 months and current month.
This feature is only available for DBS/POSB Credit Cardholders currently.
You can select multiple alerts. They are applicable to the due dates of all cards. Due dates are per your latest statements.
Set alerts for payments
Step 1: Tap on “More”.
Step 2: Select “Settings”.
Step 3: Select “Alerts & Notifications”.
Step 4: Select “Set Payment Alerts and choose your preferred alerts.
DBS Lifestyle app offers an entry way into the DBS Digibank SG app where you will be able to make your payments.
If you attempt to make payment via DBS Lifestyle app but do not have the DBS Digibank SG app installed, you will instead be redirected to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the app.
Activation of auto magnetic stripe for overseas use
This new service will be able to detect your phone’s location and automatically turn the magnetic stripe on and off accordingly, providing convenience for your travel. We seek to provide you with greater peace of mind and added security for your future Card transactions.
Step 1: Select “More” from the sidebar.
Step 2: Select “Card Services”.
Step 3: Select “Activate Card For Overseas Use”.
Step 4: Turn on the toggle for “Auto Activate/Deactivate”. You will be prompted to turn on Location Services for DBS Lifestyle app.
Step 5: Select the Card Account from the Card Selection List.
Step 6: Click "<" on top left corner and your options will be saved.
Note: Location services is necessary for this feature.
Once the app detect your device’s new location, it will automatically activate / deactivate the magnetic stripe on your card. Once activated, you will be notified via SMS as well as Push Notification to your device.

Step 3: Select “Activate Card For Overseas Use”.
Step 4: Turn off the toggle for “Auto Activate/Deactivate”.
Turn on your location service and be connected to local network/WIFI. You do not need to have data roaming. Once activated, you will be notified via SMS as well as Push Notification to your device.
Yes, you will receive both a push notification and an SMS when your cards’ magnetic stripe are auto activated or deactivated.
If you are currently located near the country’s borders, the GPS may confuse your actual location. Simply move further away to deactivate your magnetic stripe.
Your saved coupons, favourites are tied to your user ID and will be available in your new device when you download and login to the app on your new device. However, do note that your personalised settings are saved on your device so you will have to re-set up your personalisation setting.
Yes, the Auto Activation Magnetic Stripe feature will overwrite your existing settings.

The campaign will be displayed on your dashboard and you can click on it to register. In addition, if you have enabled push notifications, you will receive alerts when new campaigns are launched.
The Spend Tracker on the dashboard provides an overview of how much more needs to be spent to qualify for the campaign.
