    DBS digibank is the new mobile banking app which aims to make banking simpler, smarter, faster and more secure, so that you have more time for the things you love.

  2. What are the new features of the DBS digibank app?

    In addition to the improved layout with more intuitive navigation, our DBS digibank app comes with these exciting new features:

    • Peek Balance: Check your balance in one swipe. No login required!
    • Touch ID: Log into your account securely with just your fingerprint.
    • Quicklinks: Create shortcuts for your favourite mobile banking services.
    • Personalised Profile: Customise your own profile with a picture or nickname.
    • Payments Made Easier: Use a list of recent and favourite payees for faster transactions.

  3. Why are you making changes to mobile banking?

    We are upgrading and improving mobile banking to stay relevant to your needs and provide the best possible mobile banking experience.

  4. What do I need to get started?

    All you need is any Apple device with iOS7.0 or higher, or an Android device running v4.2 or higher.

    Simply download the DBS digibank app from Apple Store or Google Play.

  5. What happens to the old mBanking app?

    The old app will be retired from April 2016, after which you will no longer be able to access it. As such, please download the new DBS digibank app on Google Play or App Store before the old app retires.

  6. What will happen to my existing bill payment and funds transfer arrangements? Do I need to set them up again?

    We’d like to assure you that your existing bill payments and funds transfer arrangements will not be affected. You can continue to access all your payees from the Payee list on the new DBS digibank app.

  7. What is Peek Balance?

    Peek Balance lets you check your preferred account balance with a simple swipe on your mobile device or Apple Watch. No login required! You can select your preferred account from any of your DBS/POSB deposit or credit card accounts. To learn how to set up Peek Balance, click here.

  8. I don’t think I’ll need Peek Balance. Can I opt out from it?

    Yes, you have a choice. Peek Balance requires a one-time setup after you login to DBS digibank app. Without performing this setup, Peek Balance will not be turned on.

  9. What is Touch ID?

    Your fingerprint is your password. With Touch ID, accessing your accounts is faster, easier and more secure with just your fingerprint.

    Fingerprint login is available on Touch ID enabled Apple devices running on iOS8 or higher.

Transaction Signing

  1. What is Transaction Signing?

    Transaction Signing is a procedure introduced in Dec 2012 as part of an industry-wide initiative to bring you a more secure online banking environment. It is used for certain "high-risk" transactions like adding payees, updating personal particulars, or performing high-value transactions.

  2. Why was I not prompted to enter OTP after entering my iBanking User ID and PIN?

    With the introduction of Transaction Signing, changes have been made to make it easier and more convenient to transact on iBanking. To provide you quick and easy access to your basic account information, you only need to login using your User ID and PIN.

  3. Can we access DBS/POSB iBanking without token?

    Yes, you are now able to conveniently perform selected services such as Transaction History and low value fund transfers and bill payment conveniently using SMS OTP that is sent to your mobile phone registered with the bank.

    To allow us to direct the SMS to the correct phone number, please ensure that you register your mobile phone number with us at the earliest. Registration may be done at either any of our ATMs, or by completing the form found here

Transaction Alerts

  1. What are transaction alerts?

    The bank has introduced email and SMS notification alerts when you perform selected transactions via iBanking and digibank as well as other channels. This enhanced security feature helps ensure that you are immediately alerted on any unauthorized transactions. Click here to view the selected transactions.

  2. How do I register my mobile number and email address for the transaction alerts?

    Simply login to DBS/POSB iBanking and select ‘Update Particulars and Contact Preferences’ to register your email address and mobile number.

Money Safe Guarantee

  1. What is Money Safe Guarantee?

    DBS is the 1st bank in Singapore that guarantees your money is 100% safe when you bank online. This means you can get back money lost from your account through any unauthorised transaction. As an iBanking customer, you will be automatically covered by this guarantee.

iBanking OTP

  1. What is iBanking OTP?

    iBanking OTP serves as an additional security feature that uses a One Time Password authorisation. You will need to register your mobile number with the Bank in order to receive iBanking OTP via SMS for the following:

    • SMS Login – An 6-digit OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. SMS Login is a feature introduced in Dec 2012 as an alternative second factor authentication on top of using the iB Secure Device.
    • Transactions – An 6-digit OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS to authorize and complete selected transactions such as Update Personal Details.
    • Notifications – SMS alerts will be sent to your registered mobile number upon completion of your online transactions.
  2. Can I share my mobile number with my family?

    The bank uses SMS to communicate transaction alerts and one-time passwords (OTP) for bank transactions, these alerts and SMSes are confidential and meant to be viewed by the account holder only.

    As such, a mobile number is unique to each customer on our record – this is in place to safeguard our customer’s interests.
