It's happening from 1 Aug 2025 until 31 Dec 2025 – so both those dates are included!

Who can participate in this campaign?

The Campaign is open to all DBS/POSB customers who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, aged 55 and above, with no prior PayNow NRIC registration in the last 6 months before the start of each Qualifying Period:

If you’ve already registered your NRIC for PayNow with a different bank, simply switch over and get rewarded – as long as you have no prior PayNow NRIC registration with DBS/POSB in the last 6 months before the start of each qualifying period.

Can I share this promotion with my family and friends for them to participate?

Definitely! Share the good news with your family and friends. Just a reminder that this promotion is only available to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents born in or before 1970. In 2025, this means customers who are 55 years old and above.

How do I sign-up and qualify for this Campaign?

It’s automatic! No sign-up needed!

To qualify, ensure you do not have prior PayNow NRIC registration with DBS/POSB in the last 6 months before the start of the Qualifying Period, then simply link your DBS/POSB account to your NRIC with PayNow and make at least 3 PayNow/PayLah! transactions during the Qualifying Period.

Each customer can receive a cash reward only once during the campaign period (Qualifying Periods 1 and 2). The reward will be given to the first 10,000 Qualified Customers in each qualifying period.

If I fulfil the eligibility criteria but I unlink my DBS/POSB account from PayNow using my NRIC during the qualifying period, do I still qualify for this Campaign?

To get the Prize, keep your DBS/POSB account linked to PayNow using your NRIC throughout the Qualifying Period and until you receive it. The Prize will be credited to your PayNow-linked NRIC account.

What if I use my mobile number instead of my NRIC to link my DBS/POSB account to PayNow? Do I still qualify?

Nope, only NRIC links qualify. Make sure you haven't linked your DBS/POSB account to your NRIC with PayNow in the last 6 months before the qualifying period began.

What qualifies as an eligible PayNow/PayLah! payment transaction?

Each successful local PayNow/PayLah! payment transaction made to a recipient during the Qualifying Period counts as one eligible payment. Payments to the same or different recipients are accepted, including those made via PayNow Corporate.

PayNow transactions are electronic fund transfers that allows you to instantly transfer Singapore Dollars (SGD) funds to a payee, using their designated mobile number or NRIC/FIN instead of their bank account number. PayLah! transactions are made via the DBS PayLah! app, including payments to both merchants and users using QR codes, mobile numbers, UENs and ecommerce payments.

I have linked different DBS/POSB accounts with PayNow – one to my mobile number and one to my NRIC, which account will I receive the prize?

You will receive the cash reward to your active DBS/POSB PayNow account (linked to your NRIC).

How will I know if I’m one of the first 10,000 Qualified Customers to get the cash reward?

You'll receive a push notification within 2 months of the qualifying period ending if you're in the first 10,000. Make sure push notifications are turned on!

How do I know how much I am going to get for the promotion?

Because you're automatically enrolled, we can only give you the details at the end of each Qualifying Period. So, your amount will be clear once we've processed the report.
