How to Check Account Opening Application Status

Step 1
Log on to Application Status Portal.

Choose your Identification type, and enter your NRIC/ Malaysian IC/ Passport number and Email address used in your application.

Enter the 6 digit Email OTP sent to your email address used in the application.

You can check your application status under Recently submitted applications.

Step 5
Tap on Completed applications to view your processed application(s).

Step 6
If your application is successful, you may tap on Authenticate via SMS to view account number.

Under Recently submitted applications, find the application and tap on Upload documents.

Enter the 6 digit SMS OTP sent to your mobile number used in the application.

Upload all required documents and tap Next.

Your document(s) are successfully uploaded. Tap Done to return to main page.

  • You will receive an email update about your application status after we proceed to open your account.​
  • This service is available to you if​:
    • You do not have an existing banking relationship with us.
    • You applied for a personal account via digibank app.

We accept JPG, PNG, PDF and TIF, up to 5MB in file size. Please compress your file size if it is too big.​
If you are still facing issues uploading documents after multiple tries (with different documents), please try again at a later time.​
We strive to process your applications by the time stipulated in the portal. Sometimes this may take longer if you have just submitted a follow-up document.​
