Transfer Funds to Wrong Local Account

Contact the account holder directly or visit a DBS/POSB Branch with your NRIC/Passport to fill up an Indemnity Form if you are the sender, or a General Purpose Form if you are a receiver of a wrong local funds transfer.

Sender of a wrong local funds transfer
  1. Contact the account holder directly to request for the return of funds.

  2. If Unable to contact the account holder, visit any DBS/POSB Branch with your NRIC/Passport to fill up an Indemnity Form and we will do our best to recover the funds on your behalf.
Note:
  • The bank is unable to reverse the wrong funds transfer without the consent of the recipient.

  • Visit any DBS/POSB Branch with your NRIC/Passport and fill up a General Purpose Form to authorise the deduction and have the funds returned to the sender.
