Singpass enables citizens and residents to manage the use of their personal data for simpler online transactions. All Singpass users are automatically provisioned with a MyInfo profile. Singpass data is safeguarded by industry cybersecurity best practices like end-to-end encryption and multi-layered security. Moreover, you are the sole person who can give consent for the use of data in Singpass. Your data can only be retrieved upon your identity authentication by logging into Singpass and giving consent.

Can I open both a new joint-alternate account and personal account?

No, only the opening of a personal account is eligible for the Reward to the first eligible Deposit Account opened.

Can I participate in the promotion more than once?

Each customer is entitled to only 1 Reward throughout the Promotion.

When will I receive my Reward?

The Reward will be credited to the newly opened Personal Deposits Account by 30 November 2022 (or such other date as DBS may determine in its sole discretion and without prior notice to you). Thereafter, Eligible Customers will receive a notification that it has been credited.


Deposit Insurance Scheme

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors and monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the Supplementary Retirement Scheme are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$75,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the CPF Investment Scheme and CPF Retirement Sum Scheme are aggregated and separately insured up to S$75,000 for each depositor per Scheme member. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
