Important information

  • Account Closure is permanent, and cannot be reinstated.
  • Account Closure will only happen if account's available balance is zero.
  • Please close your DBS PayLah! wallet before closure of your linked deposit account.
  • Any transactions that may not have been posted to your account upon closure will not be retrievable or provided via statements.
Close a Personal or Joint Alternate Account Using digibank Online
Step 1
Log in to digibank Online with your User ID and PIN.
Step 2
Complete the Authentication Process.
Step 3
Under Request, select More Requests.
Step 4
Under Other Services, select Close Deposit Account.
Step 5
Select the DBS/POSB Deposit Account that you wish to close and click Next.
Step 6
Verify the details and click Submit to complete the request.
Step 7
Review the completion of the account closure and click Finish.

For closure of Joint-All accounts, both account holders are required to be present at a DBS/POSB branch.

We recommend that you transfer your remaining balance via DBS Remit / Overseas Transfer / Local Funds Transfer before you close your account.
All your ATM/Debit Cards and GIRO facilities linked to the closed account will be terminated upon account closure
