Reset/Retrieve digibank User ID and/or PIN

You can reset or retrieve your User ID and reset your PIN using our digital channels.

Important information

  • digibank User ID must be between 5 to 20 characters and contains letters and numbers only.
  • To retrieve your digibank User ID online, you need to have a registered iB Secure Device or registered mobile to receive SMS One-Time-Password (OTP).
  • digibank PIN must be between 6 to 9 digit numbers.

How to change/ retrieve digibank User ID

  • Visit digibank online.
  • Click on Forget User ID.
  • Enter your credentials (eg. NRIC, ATM/Debit Card Number & Card PIN).
    You will be able to retrieve your existing User ID immediately after validation.
  • Click on Change, and enter your desired new digibank User ID.
  • If you encounter issues relating to your Card & Card PIN, learn how you can reset your Card PIN.

Tap on More at the bottom and select Change User ID/PIN.

Enter your new User ID and tap Next.

Verify the details and tap on Change ID Now.

  • Log in to digibank online with your existing digibank User ID and PIN.
  • Complete the Authentication Process.
  • Under Preferences at the top right, click on Change iBanking User ID.
  • Input your New User ID and click Next.
  • Verify your details and click Submit to change your User ID.

How to reset digibank PIN

There are various channels which you may reset your digibank PIN with us. The most convenient method would be via digibank mobile.

  • Launch your digibank mobile app and select Log In.
  • Tap Forgot your PIN?, and indicate your Identity Type, Identity Number and Date of Birth.
  • Tap Next and select the option that you like to identify yourself via:
    • Debit / ATM Card; OR
    • DBS Secure Device (Token)
  • After identification, Enter New PIN and tap on Set New PIN to complete the reset of your digibank PIN.

  • Visit our digibank online login page.
  • Click on Forget PIN.
  • Enter your credentials (eg. NRIC, ATM/Debit Card Number & Card PIN).
  • Authenticate your request using your Debit/ATM card details or DBS iB Secure Device.
  • Enter your new digibank PIN.
  • Re-authenticate using DBS iB Secure Device or SMS OTP, and your PIN will be changed immediately.
    If you did not receive the SMS OTP, you can restart your device and try again. If your mobile number is incorrect, learn how you can update your mobile number.
