DBS x AsiaPac E-Waste Recycling Campaign

At DBS, we believe that everyone can play a role in creating a positive impact on the environment, and we are committed to supporting businesses in enabling this impact.

In collaboration with AsiaPac, the Singapore Business Federation, and SME Centre @ SICCI, DBS introduces an e-waste recycling and tech-refresh campaign for businesses from now till 30th April 2024.

This initiative aims to facilitate contribution towards keeping toxic materials out of Singapore’s landfills.

How and where to recycle

Option 1: Laptop Trade-in

Register your interest to trade in your laptop.

AsiaPac will get in touch with you within 2 weeks.

AsiaPac will arrange for a remote inspection and provide the rebate amount within the week. They will collect at your address on an agreed upon date.

Receive rebates of up to $300* for purchase of a new laptop.

Option 2: Electronics Disposal

Register your interest to dispose of end-of-life laptops, mobile phones and tablets.

For more than 10 units, On-site collection is available.

For less than 10 units, drop-off can be made at Singapore Business Federation or SME Centre @ SICCI.

For collection at your address, AsiaPac will connect with you to make an appointment.

	Who is eligible for this campaign?
	All enterprises based within Singapore are eligible to apply.

	When Is the campaign period?
	The campaign runs from now till 30th April, 2024.

	How will I receive my rebate?
	After registering for trade-in, AsiaPac engineers will arrange for and conduct a remote inspection to assess and determine the rebate amount. Your rebate amount will be processed within the week. You will then be able to use the rebate amount to offset the cost of your purchase with AsiaPac.

	What kind of E-waste is accepted?
	We accept laptops, tablets, and mobile phones for disposal.

	How many devices can I dispose?
	There are no restrictions on the quantity of devices you can dispose of. Simply register and specify the number of devices you plan to dispose of before proceeding to the recycling bins situated at the Singapore Business Federation and SME Centre @ SICCI. For disposals exceeding 10 devices, take advantage of our complimentary onsite collection service.

Is the data in my E-waste safe?

Laptops eligible for trade-in come with a complimentary data wipe service to guarantee the secure removal of your information. Our trusted e-waste recycling partner, Cimelia, is an NEA-licensed company with rigorous governance protocols. They specialize in extracting only precious metals, ensuring the complete protection of your data. Additionally, all storage media devices, including SIM cards, memory cards, USB flash drives, and hard disks, undergo a meticulous crushing process for secure destruction.

	What if my laptop doesn’t fall under the specifications?
	You can register your interest for trading in your laptop using our form, and our engineers will notify you about your laptop's eligibility for rebates during the remote inspection.
