With Woman's Care, a critical illness insurance plan underwritten by MSIG Insurance, you won't be caught off-guard by the high medical costs. It offers a one-time lump sum payout in addition to your regular health insurance plans giving you extra financial help when you most need it, so you can focus on getting your health back on track.

The premium is inclusive of 7% GST.
The premium payable is based on the Insured’s current age and will increase when the Insured enters the next age band at each policy renewal.
MSIG Insurance reserves the right to vary the premium payable at each renewal and will notify you of any changes at least thirty (30) days before the renewal date.

It is a critical illness insurance plan which provides a lump sum payment to the insured in the event of a diagnosis of a Female Cancer or Major Cancer.
This Policy is designed exclusively for DBS/POSB female customers (including foreigners) who are aged between 18 and below 60 and residing in Singapore.
It covers Cancer of the breast and Cancer of the female reproductive organs - Cervix, Uterus, Fallopian Tube, Vulva/Vagina, Ovary. Please refer to the Woman's Care Insurance Policy for the complete list and definition of Female Cancer.
A malignant tumour positively diagnosed with histological confirmation and characterized by the uncontrolled growth of malignant cells with invasion and destruction of normal tissue. Please refer to Policy wordings for more details on Major Cancer and its exclusions.
The benefit amount will be paid to the Insured according to the terms, conditions and exceptions of this policy upon the first diagnosis of any of the Cancer covered during the period of insurance.
No, your Policy will be terminated upon payment of either one of the benefits.
Waiting period is the period of time from the commencement date, or the reinstatement date, whichever is later for the Insured where no claim can be made in respect of any cancer diagnosed within the applicable waiting period.
Yes, there's a 90 days waiting period from the commencement date, or the reinstatement date, whichever is later for that Insured.
Survival period is the period of time for which an insured must survive from the first diagnosis of Cancer before a claim can be made.
Yes, there's a 30 days survival period.
Each individual can only purchase one policy.
No, pre-existing conditions are not covered under the policy. Pre-existing condition means any illness, condition or symptom which:
- treatment, medication, advice or diagnosis has been sought or received or was foreseeable,
- presented signs, symptoms that the insured was aware or reasonably have been aware, originated or existed, would cause an ordinarily prudent person to seek diagnosis, care or test; prior to the commencement date of the policy.
Premiums for Woman's Care are age banded. When you move from one age band to the next, there will be a subsequent increase in premium.
No. As long as you pay the premium and observe the terms and conditions of your Policy, it will be renewed automatically each year. No renewal advice will be issued.
The Policy will terminate and your cover under this Policy will cease immediately upon:
- non-payment of premium by due date
- a single payment of either Female Cancer or Major Cancer
- the expiry of the policy year in which you attain sixty-five (65) years old
- at the time of your death
whichever first occurs.
Yes, either you or MSIG can cancel the Policy by giving the other party 30 days' notice in writing. If you cancel the Policy, you will receive a pro-rated refund of premium paid from the date of cancellation provided no claim has arisen and the amount refundable is more than S$10.
Please notify MSIG in writing of any event giving rise or likely to give rise to a claim under the Policy as soon as possible but in any case within 30 days of the diagnosis of cancer. You will need to complete a claim form and provide all information, evidence or supporting documents e.g. receipts, medical certificates or reports at your own expense, which MSIG may require to assess your claim.

You have a free look period of 14 business days from the date you receive the Policy. If you decide to cancel the Policy within these 14 days, please inform MSIG Insurance in writing and they will cancel the Policy from its start date and refund in full premium paid provided no claim has arisen.
