Terms & conditions apply.² We will not pay the cancer benefit if: the life insured did not survive for at least 7 days from the date of diagnosis of a cancer; the date of diagnosis of a cancer is within 90 days from the policy issue date or the date of reinstatement of this policy, whichever is later; if the life insured has contracted Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) or any AIDS-related condition; or if cancer was pre-existing.³ Upon the diagnosis of cancer, the policy will automatically extend: (i) for 5 years from the date of diagnosis of cancer; or (ii) until age 85 of the life insured, whichever is shorter. Premiums will cease during this period. Please refer to policy contract for definitions of the cancer treatments.⁵ The age of the life insured’s child must be between 30 days and 17 years old when Advanced Stage Cancer was diagnosed. Only the biological or legally adopted child of the life insured is eligible. Stepchildren are not entitled to this benefit. The maximum number of claims is 2 times and each claim must be on a different child.
