FAQs
What is the time commitment needed from SMEs?

The programme will run for three years. Most of the strategise and digitise activities will occur during the first 12 months of the programme, with half-yearly reviews with the Schneider Electric team in the second and third year of the programme.

What is required from SMEs during the programme?

As SMEs will need to establish their baseline energy consumption and Scope 1 and 2 emissions, we would require documents such as past utility bills to ascertain their energy consumption and carbon footprint during the baseline year.

Does the SME need to pay the subsidised programme fee upfront?

The fees would be paid based on the completion of programme milestones.

Do I need to appoint a dedicated Sustainability Officer in my company for this programme?

While not necessary, one of the objectives of the programme is to transfer sustainability and decarbonisation-related knowledge to SMEs, it would be great for the SME to appoint a person to run the programme together with Schneider Electric.

What if the SME drop outs halfway throughout the 3-year programme? Will there be any penalties?

There will not be any penalties for SMEs that decide not to continue the programme.
