Supported by Enterprise Singapore, as part of the Enterprise Sustainability Programme, the SaaS programme offered by TÜV SÜD helps businesses capture new opportunities in the green economy. This programme will support local companies in meeting customer and regulatory requirements through a systematic gap analysis, training, and certification approach.

Eligible enterprises can receive up to 70% funding of qualified costs under the programme.

Digital gap analysis

The User can select the relevant standard and go through the assessment questions in order to understand your current management system performance and insights on the gaps to achieve certification.

Training

After realizing the gaps, the training courses which includes an Awareness; Internal Auditor and Implementer course aims to guide participants through the principles, requirements and practices of the chosen standard and learn how to contribute to the continuous improvement of the management system.

Certification

Certification

Certification which includes both pre-certification and actual certification audit, aims to help SMEs to (i) validate their system implementation against the standards requirements; (ii) identify areas of improvement.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this programme, your business must be:

  • Be a business entity registered and operating in Singapore
  • Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding
  • A first-time applicant of the certified standard
  • Applicant needs to successfully achieve certification and complete all stages of the programme.
Pricing

Ranging between $3000 to $15000 after grant for the whole programme.

What is the Sustainability-as-a-Service Programme (SaaS)?

The Sustainability-as-a-Service programme will support local companies in meeting customer and regulatory requirements through an online self-assessment gap analysis, training, and certification approach. It will help raise awareness of new concepts and drive standards to fulfil their sustainability roadmap.

How long does it take to complete the SaaS Programme?

Most projects undertaken by companies should be completed within 12 months upon successful application. Successful applicants are advised to keep the project timeline to a reasonable duration to ensure the outcomes remain relevant in a rapidly changing economic environment. The following graphic provides a good guidance on the recommended programme timeline.

Are consultancy services covered under the Sustainability-as-a-Service Programme?

No, any services relating to consultancy will not be covered under the SaaS programme. Companies may apply for SaaS for public training and certification services, and consider engaging consultancy services separately outside of the programme.

How will TÜV SÜD PSB help me in achieving certification?

The programme will provide you with a set of online self-assessment questions (Online self-assessment) to understand your current management system performance, as well as a public training programme introducing you to the principles, requirements and practices of your selected management system standard.

There will be no consultancy and advisory services provided by TÜV SÜD PSB. Any services relating to consultancy will not be covered under the SaaS programme.

What information would I require to submit to enjoy the subsidy by Enterprise Singapore?

i. Latest ACRA search or instant information (dated no earlier than six months from date of project application). If there are corporate shareholders, please provide the information for the corporate parents as well.
ii. Completed Declaration Form
iii. Completed Standard Questionnaire

All applications and supporting documents will be submitted to Enterprise Singapore through TÜV SÜD PSB for final assessment and review. Only applications that fulfil ESG’s funding eligibility criteria will be successful.
