DBS QR Ang Bao

There is a new way to gift an Ang Bao this Chinese New Year with the pilot DBS QR Ang Baos. You can scan, load, gift with DBS PayLah!.

The QR Ang Bao will be available in limited quantities at DBS Branches, DBS Treasures Centres and DBS Treasures Private Client Centres from 25 January 2019.

Win S$8,888 if you give or receive the highest number of qualifying QR Ang Bao or eAng Bao from 1 to 19 February 2019.

Over the 15 days of Chinese New Year, there’s also a daily prize of S$188 for the top 10 users with the highest number of qualifying transactions at the end of each day from 5 to 19 February 2019.

Here is how to use the DBS QR Ang Bao:

Giving a QR Ang Bao

Scan Scan the QR code found on the QR Ang Bao using DBS PayLah!		Load When prompted, load the QR code with money from your PayLah! wallet.		Gift You are now ready to give QR Ang Bao to a loved one. Huat ah!
Each QR Ang Bao can only be used once.
Receiving a QR Ang Bao

Scan Scan the QR code found on the QR Ang Bao using DBS PayLah!		Receive Receive your money instantly into your PayLah! wallet. Huat ah!

For QR Ang Baos that are not received/redeemed by 15 March 2019, the money will be returned to the giver.
