Create and manage alerts

Stay on top of your business accounts by setting up customised alerts for key banking activities. Receive real-time notifications via the IDEAL mobile app or email to help you: 

  • Track outgoing payments such as remittances or FAST/GIRO transfers.
  • Track incoming payments from customers and business partners.
  • Avoid service fees by maintaining sufficient account balances.
  • Stay informed on any changes in payment status.
Get started with commonly used alerts
High/Low Balance Alert

Get notified when your account balance crosses set thresholds, allowing you to avoid service fees or optimise surplus funds.

eStatement Alert

Get notified when your monthly eStatement is available, this helps to streamline reconciliation and timely year-end reporting.

Payment Statuses Alert

Receive real-time payment updates and avoid payment delays to your business partners and respond promptly if issues arise.

Incoming Telegraphic Transfer Notification Alert

Get notified when an incoming Telegraphic Transfer is initiated by your business partner’s bank – track the payment and reduce uncertainty while awaiting credit.

Incoming Funds Alert

Get notified instantly when funds from customer payments or partner transfers are credited to your account – no need to log in and check manually.

Create alerts on IDEAL
  1. Log in to DBS IDEAL.
     
  2. Go to the top right-hand corner, and select the person icon to access your Profile & Settings.
     
  3. Go to Security & Preferences, and select Alerts & Notifications.
     
  4. Select the alerts you want to set up.
     
  5. To create an alert, select Create personalised alert.
     
  6. Select to receive the alerts via IDEAL mobile app alert or email. To have the same alert sent to other coworkers, add their email address.
     
  7. Select Submit to create and save alert.
     
  8. To manage your alerts, go to the alert and select Show saved alerts. Then select Edit or Delete.

    You will not be able to delete mandatory alerts. However, you can edit how you want to receive them.
