Example for illustration:
- Your customer sends your company a payment in USD for an invoice. Once the bank receives the payment, the funds will be credited to your USD wallet tied to your DBS Business Multi-Currency Account.
- If your supplier requests payment from your company in USD for an invoice, you can choose one of the following options:
Pay in USD with your USD wallet | When making payment, select the USD wallet tied to your DBS Business Multi-Currency Account. The funds will be deducted from your USD wallet. |
Convert SGD to USD at the time of payment | Use your SGD wallet to pay the supplier in USD by utilising Foreign Exchange (FX) conversion at the time of payment. |
Convert SGD to USD before payment | Perform a Foreign Exchange (FX) conversion within your own account (e.g. convert SGD to USD) to activate the USD wallet before making the USD payment. |
