What is the difference between DBS Banking for Foreign Companies and DBS SME Banking?

As a Foreign Company, we recognise that your business banking needs are outside your country of residence or operation. Our team of dedicated Relationship Managers is professionally trained to address the holistic needs of foreign businesses. You will have a dedicated Relationship Manager who will be your main point of contact in the bank, and he will work with our product specialists and industry experts to provide you with a comprehensive range of services to support your banking needs.

What are the eligibility criteria?

You only have to maintain a minimum average deposit of SGD 50,000 for SGD accounts or the equivalent of USD 50,000 for other currencies, in a DBS Business Account per legal entity.

There will be different packages with varying minimum deposit amounts and preferential banking fees.  Your dedicated Relationship Manager can help advise the best package for your business.

A one-time set-up fee of SGD 500 (and onwards) will also apply.

What is the monthly fall-below fee?

A monthly fall-below fee is applicable if your account balance does not meet the minimum qualifying criteria. It starts from a minimum of SGD 80 and varies according to the plan and currency that you choose.

How is the minimum average daily balance for the month being computed? When will the fee be deducted from my account?

Your end-of day credit balance is tracked throughout the month. These balances are then added together and divided by the number of days in the month in order to determine your average daily balance. If your average daily balance falls below the minimum balance requirement for the account, then a fall-below fee will be deducted at the end of the month.
