How it works

Here are a few possible scenarios to help you better understand how the payout will work in the event that your domestic helper incurs Hospitalisation and Surgical (H&S) bills.
1
Scenario 1The domestic helper's H&S bill is S$20,000, and she is covered under Classic plan
Payment by Chubb:

First S$15,000 + 75% of the remaining

i.e. S$15,000 + S$3,750 = S$18,750

Co-payment by You:

25% of S$5,000 = S$1,250

Remaining Benefit Limit per Policy Year:

The Benefit Limit will be reduced based on the amount Chubb paid out, i.e. S$60,000 - S$18,750 = S$41,250
