Potential delays or rejections: Due to regulatory requirements in Thailand, intermediary or beneficiary banks may delay or reject incoming transfers based on their compliance policies and local banking regulations. These decisions are made by the receiving institutions and are outside DBS' control. DBS is therefore not responsible for any delay or rejection of such payments caused by our agent bank or the Thai beneficiary bank.
Saved recipients: To comply with regulatory requirements and improve our services, some recipients may be temporarily unavailable in digibank. We are working with our banking partners in Thailand to enhance support for additional recipient accounts in the future.
DBS Remit supports transfers to individual and business bank accounts held with the following banks in Thailand:
2 Transfers to corporate accounts are not supported.
Effective 11 May 2025, DBS Remit transfers to these banks are processed via PromptPay International and are available with zero transfer fees.
Service is temporarily unavailable for transfers to all other banks in Thailand (Processed via Bahtnet). To transfer to banks in Thailand that are not supported by DBS Remit, please make an Overseas Telegraphic Transfer (OTT) in SGD from your DBS/POSB account, or in a supported currency from your DBS Multi-Currency Account. Regular Overseas Fund Transfer fees apply for transfers to Thailand in non-THB currencies.
